On The Air

Sergt. A. T. Morton, who is serving with the Army Catering Corps at Hanover, Germany, has had an “airing” on the British Forces’ Network in Germany on a programme called “Old Comrades.”  Sergt. Morton, whose home is at 161, Adwick Road, Mexborough, sang “Macushla.”

Also on the same programme was Sergt. Hart, whose mother and son live in Sandygate Road, Wath.  Sergt. Hart sang “You’re Breaking my Heart.”

In July 1949, Sergt. Morton was a winner in a talent competition at Bridlington.
