Taking The Dog For a Walk—Or Vice Versa

January 1970

The old joke about taking the dog for a walk—or vice versa—could be applied to “Captain.””Skippy,” his house companion, spends most of her time “travelling” (by car) but when she’s ‘in residence”, “‘Captain” takes her out. Or does he?

He’s such a delightful old creature she probably reverses the roles—and he’d never be one to grumble. This is a familiar sight at Wath.

The lovable golden retriever is nine years old; “Skippy,” a Jack Russell terrier, is two. When “Captain’s” not out and about he spends his time sitting at the gate dreaming!
