Serving Abroad

A member of a well-known West Melton family, Marine Percy Humphries (21), one of the six sons of Mrs. and the late Mr. Humphries, of 49, Winterwell Road, has been in the Forces for twelve months and is serving In the Middle East.

A former pupil of Brampton Ellis School, before being called up he was employed at Dale Brown’s. Swinton. His father, who died in 1928, served for four years in the last war, and two brothers are in the Home Guard.

In his letters Marine Humphries says he is fit and well.
