 Wath Draw in Robins’ Benefit Match at Castleford.

Arthur Robins, the ex-Sheffield United -winger and now captain of Castleford Town, took a benefit yesterday, at Castleford, when the Town and Wath Athletic drew 1-1. Unfortunately the wretched conditions caused the attendance to be a small one.

Castleford had much the better of the first half, Roe, Tillotson, and Bartlett each going close, whilst Williams and Topham cleared when the Wath goal was in danger. Before the interval, however, Roe scored for Castleford.

In the second half Wath improved, and in one of their strong attacks Brelsford headed into his own goal. Result Castleford Town Wath Athletic
