Golden Wedding.
At Wath Parish Church on April 18th, 1892, the wedding took place of Miss Sarah Mori to Mr. Richard Davis Walton. The Rev. F. L. Wilkins officiated.
Mr. Walton is a native of Mexborough, and started work at Manvers Main Colliery, and after 30 years down the mine left to take up duties on the railway, where he worked up to the time of his retirement.
Mr. and Mrs. Walton, who will thus celebrate their golden wedding shortly, now reside at The Bungalows, Green Gate Close, off Furlong Road, Bolton.
They have had a family of six, four of whom are now living. There are ten grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
