Debut of “Kilnstar,”

3 September 1960

South Yorkshire Times, September 3, 1960

November is the month set for the debut of “Kilnstar,” the four and a half years old racehorse which belongs to Mr. Peter White, of Church Street, Wath.

Mr. White told the “South Yorkshire Times” this week that he intends to ride his horse in a steeplechase. He was to have made his debut at Easter, but “Kilnstar” was not entered because he threw Mr. White a few days before the race, and Mr. White had to have hospital treatment.

Mr, White’s colours will be grey with pink cross stripes, bearing Wath Park Road School badge, and a red cap.
