Mr. and Mrs. Lidster of 228, Doncaster Road, Wath, have a record which will take some beating.
All their 2 five sons are serving in the Royal Artillery and were called up at the beginning of the war.
They are Sergeant Major (A. I. G.). Harry (33), Sergt. George Colin (31), gunners Tom William (213). John Henry (22) and Arthur (19).
Before the war all served in the Territorials and between them and 52 years service. Harry and George were formerly employed at Barnburgh Main Colliery, and the others at Manvers Main Colliery.
