He Will Appear at the Albert Hall
17-Years-Old Wath boy who is enjoying life in the Junior Leaders, has been chosen a member of his Regiment’s Choir who will be taking part in the Remembrance Service at the Royal Albert Hall, on November 6th.
He is David Feirn, only son of Mr. George Feirn, former well- known cricketer, and of Mrs, Feirn, of 17, Mount Pleasant Road, Wath.
David was chosen for the choir earlier this year and has been rehearsing ever since.
It is an occasion on which he will be able to wear a medal earned by completing the Nijmegen march (a four day march of 25 miles each day).
As a member of the Royal Signals Regiment stationed at Newton Abbott, David volunteered for the march and spent months In training.
