Gallant Guards Sergeant

Here is a picture of L/Sgt. F. Helliwell, of 7, Hoyles’ Yard, High Street, West Melton, who, as reported in our last issue, commanded a section of a Guards regiment in Holland at the capture of a vital bridge over the Escaut Canal.

The bridge was of the utmost importance to the British troops.
