Wedding: Ecob & Snart

Miss Hilda, Mary Snart, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Snart, the Plough Inn, West Melton, was married at Brampton Parish Church on Tuesday by the Rev. C. L. Suggit, to Mr. Harry Bursnall Ecob, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Ecob, Merevale, Wath Wood Road, Wath.

The bride wore blue georgette and carried pink carnations. Her attendant, Miss Winifred S. Ecob, wore Soral ninon and carried bronze chrysanthemums.

The best man was Mr. W. K. Stanley, and the groomsmen Messrs. J. B. Snart and C. R. Stanley. The bridesmaid wore a pearl necklace. the gift of the bridegroom. The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a gold wristlet watch, and the bride gave the bridegroom gold cuff links.

The honeymoon is being spent in London and Torquay, the bride travelling in navy blue. The bridegroom is a prominent member of the Wath Operatic Society and was formerly a playing member of the Wath Tennis Club.
