Lampman’s Fall
A verdict of “Accidental death” was returned at an inquest at Mexborough yesterday on Henry Hartley (74), colliery lampman, of Doncaster Road, Wath-on-Dearne, who on September 13th fell down and fractured his left thigh, and died from shock at the Montagu Hospital on Monday.
He had been employed at Manvers Main Colliery for 54 years.
