A Good Captain.

The West Melton Excelsior captain is J.W. Spencer who occupies the left full back position.

Spencer is one of the most consistent players in the West Melton team and it is largely due to his capable captaincy, coupled with his fine defence work, that West Melton are doing so well.

Although on the short side Spenceris sturdily built. He is a good tackler and has a strong kick in either foot. He can place the ball well and this is a great asset a full back.

He is the making of a really first class player.
