Wath 133 Wombwell Main 134 for 8
Wombwell Main, quickly recovering from last week’s set-back, took it out of Wath Athletic, whom they defeated by two wickets in a very interesting game.
Wath put up a respectable show, thanks to a partnership between Catton and Woodruff, and they gave Wombwell 133 to reply to.
Wombwell lost eight wickets in getting the runs. Their batting honour’s, went to Schofield, Loy, and C. H. Carr.
