Degree Success

Another Old Wathonian from Darfield has gained his B.A. degree, at Manchester University.

He is Mr George Wright, son of Mr and Mrs. W. Wright, of Pinfold Lane, Darfield.

Mr. Wright attended Snape Hill Council School, where he gained a County Minor Scholarship and went to Wath Grammar School.

There he matriculated, gained Higher School Certificate and was awarded a County Major Scholarship. He has taken a keen interest in sport at Manchester University and captained the St. Anselm Hall cricket team last season.

He has also gained cricket colours. He has graduated with second class honours in the School of History.
