High Scoring at Thurnscoe.
Visiting Thurnscoe for their match with Hickleton Main, Wath batted carefully, scoring 100 in the same number of minutes, but improved later and in nearly two and half hours got 214 for six, when they declared. Jewsbury hit seven and two 6’s.
Rain caused the match to be abandoned.
