Four Serving

Mr and Mrs. F. Wooding, 3 Hawthorne Road, Wath, have two sons and two daughters serving with the Forces.

Their third son, Gnr. Clifford Wooding, R.A., who is 27, was called up at the outbreak of war. He is now in India, where he has been serving for about two years.

A former domestic servant at Huddersfield, Pte. Mona Wooding (26) has been in the A.T.S. nearly two years. James (21) is an R.A.F. medical orderly now serving in the Middle East. Before joining up he was first footman to Lady Worthington. He also has been abroad nearly two years.

Mr and Mrs Wooding’s youngest daughter, Gladys, serving with the A.T.S., is a gunner in the R.A. She is 18, and was in domestic service at Sheffield before joining up about two years ago. All four were pupils of Park Road School.
