Joe Willie Mitchell, miner, of West Melton, was summoned for having been drunk on the 5th inst.
A police officer was on duty in Barnsley Road, West Melton, when he saw the defendant very drunk and making use of bad language.
Major Hammond, superintendent of police, said the defendant had been before the court on 22 previous occasions for different offences.
The last time was in May 1890 when he was fined 10 shillings and costs for drunkenness
Fined 10s and costs.
