Awarded “Wing”

Sergt. Stanley C. Breislin (23), whose wife lives at 7, Wharncliffe Avenue, Wath, has been awarded his “Wing” as a navigator in Canada.

He joined the R.A.F. nearly two years ago and has trained in Canada since last June, receiving his “Wing” at a presentation on Christmas Eve. Sergt.

Breislin is an old student of Wath Grammar School, and, worked at Waterstone Glassware Ltd.’s works.
