Wath Boy Abroad

Douglas C. Ward, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Ward, 29. Burman Road. Wath, went abroad at the end of September.

He has been in the Royal Air For 18 months, and is expected home on leave shortly. He was at one time at Swinton glass works, was a choirboy at Wath Saint James church.

His father served in the last war with the Suffolk Regiment. He was taken prisoner at Mons.
