A Revival
After the lapse of 122 years the scholars in the Upper Standard at Brampton Bierlow School yesterday (Thursday), set out to revive the old custom above referred to.
Although they might not fare so well as the lads of a century ago in the matter of refreshment, I understand they were to be provided with sandwiches and no doubt they would enter into the spirit with all the zeal which marked the days off when the hounds visited the district and the lads were privileged to follow the on foot to “the kill”.
