Betting House.

Harry Dawson (52) fish frier, of 77, Sandymount Road. Wath, was fined £10 at Rotherham West Riding Court on Monday for having on Aug 1st used his home as a betting house.

P.c Oldfield said he and two other police officers examined the house and found betting material and 36s in cash.

Defendant said “We are not making much.”

Dawson had nine convictions for betting and eight for keeping a betting house.
