Curate Leaving.

Parishioners will be sorry to learn that the Rev. E. M. Turner, curate at the Parish Church, is leaving next week to take up a curacy at Ecclesall Parish Church.

He was educated at Sheffield University and Oriel College, Oxford, and was ordained by the late Bishop of Sheffield, Dr. Burrows, in June, 1939. His curacy at Wath was his first.

Before his ordination, Mr. Turner was teaching and lecturing in the South. He has taken a great interest in youth work, especially in St. James’s Youth Fellowship.

Writing in the Parish Magazine for June. the Vicar (the Rev. E. V. Evans) says “Mr. Turner will be missed, especially for his cheerfulness and willingness to help, and for his special interest in youth work. I hope he will have every happiness and blessing in his new Parish.”
