Cyclists Annual Tribute

The South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire Centre of the National Cyclist Union last Sunday held their annual memorial service in honour of cyclists who fell in the war, and this year selected Wath on Dearne as a rendezvous.

The photograph shows Mr H Crookes, secretary of the S.Y. and N.D. centre, N.C.U. laying a wreath at the foot of the war memorial in the Town Hall grounds.

In the foreground is the Rev F B gunnery, vicar and rural dean of Wath who conducted a splendid service in the Wath Parish Church.
