Drunk at Wath
Harry Mangham, miner, of Wath, who did not appear, was ordered to pay 20s and costs, or one months in default of payment for having been drunk and disorderly in Church Street, Wath on the 27th ult.
Police constable Hyde stated that he was on duty on the day named when he saw the defendant in a drunken condition in Church street, Wath. He was using bad language and said he would not go away for any policeman. Witness had to threaten to lock him up before he would go away. It was stated that defendant had been before the court on seven previous occasions.
John Cooper, miner, of Wath, was fined 7s 6d and costs for having been drunk at Wath on the 22nd ult.
Police constable Morley proved seeing the defendant. He was drunk and wanting to fight, and used obscene language. In March, 1891, he was fined 5s. and costs for being drunk and disorderly.
George Hoyland, miner, of Watts, was summoned for having been drunk at Wath on the 21st May.
Police constable Hydes saw the defendant, who was drunk and using bad language on the highway at Wath.
Defendant was fined 5s and costs.
