Fatal Accident at Manvers Main Colliery.
Yesterday an inquest was held at Wath on the body of Samuel Moore, aged 51, a miner at Manvers Main colliery, who was killed by a fall of roof last Monday.
Mr. Wardell, Inspector of Mines, attended the inquiry, and said he had viewed the spot. The accident was due to a “slip” in the coal. He agreed with the witness that this could not be seen until after the accident had occurred
A verdict of “Accidental death ” was returned.
