Hull Coal Traffic.
France the Biggest Foreign Buyer.
Though there was a considerable increase in the coal traffic through Hull during the last month the total sent during the year, 2,101,648 tons, is a decrease of about half a million tons, compared with the previous year. The total is only equal to that sent 30 years ago.
Of the tonnage, about a quarter of million tons—practically all to London —was sent to home ports, and a similar total is shown as sent abroad. France received 142,266 tons, Holland 22,000 tons, and Sweden 14,167 tons.
