Mansfield Town 4 Wath Athletic 1
Mansfield Town and Wath Athletic had a very close and even game on the Field Mill enclosure on Saturday.
Wath were good as the home side, and up the last ten minutes there was nothing to choose between them, each having scored once. Then Jackson got a couple and on the call of time Hardv added a fourth, so the end Mansfield won bigger margin than they deserved.
Williams was a rare bustling centre for Wath, and both goalkeepers, Whittaker and Marlow, did wonders.
