These pictures were taken at the Woodman Inn, Swinton, on Saturday.

In the upper picture Mr. A. Ormondroyd (right), manager of Manvers Central Coal preparation plant, who is leaving to take up a new appointment, receives a presentation on behalf of the staff from the assistant manager, Mr P. Armstrong.

The lower picture shows staff of the plant who attended the dinner in honour of Mr. Ormondroyd.
