Egg famine may be avoided if people will join the organisation of the Domestic Poultry Keepers’ Council.

A final settlement having been reached on miners’ wages and the conditions attaching to the coalowners’ offer of an attendance bonus, miners throughout the country will receive an increased attendance bonus of 1s. per shift for men and 6d. for youths to date back to June 1st.
