The Mexborough Council are considering the possibility of dealing with the extreme congestion of traffic in the centre of the town by means of an avoiding road which will tare most of the through traffic out of High street.
The first of the Gilchrist lectures will be given to-night (Friday), at Wath-on- Dearne. The demand for seats lists been overwhelming and in order to avoid a crush at the last moment it has been decided to open the door of the hall at 7 o’clock. Ticket-holder are requested to take their seats early. The lecture will commence at 8 o’clock prompt.
