Mrs F Butterfield, 97 Avenue Road; mother of six fighting men.

Mrs Butterfield has 5 sons and a son in law serving in the Army. One of the sons is on active service, and the remainder, with the son in law in training.

The names of the sons are:

Lance Corp W. Butterfield, 2nd Northumberland Fusiliers, who has served in France and Egypt and is now in Salonika.
