New Vicar

In the presence of a large congregation, the Rev. F. B. Gunnery, late Vicar of Newport Pagnall, Bucks, was instituted to the living of Wath-upon-Dearne with Adwick, by the Bishop of Sheffield, on Saturday.

The clergy present at the ceremony were Archdeacon Sandford (Doncaster), the Rev. S. T. G. Smith (Wombwell), Dr. Hutchinson (Swinton), the Rev. Wilson (Swinton), the Rev. A. B. Appleton (curate); the Rev. McKie (Maltby), and the Rev. A. Hardy (Wesleyan Supt. Minister).

After the ceremony the Churchwardens. Mr. A. T. Thomson and Mr. W. Hoyland Gawtress, entertained the church-workers at the Church House, where the Rev. B. Gunnery was given an enthusiastic welcome. Mr. A. T. Thomson presided.
