Obscene Language at Wath

Thomas Hutchinson, miner, of Wath was summoned for having used obscene language on 16 April.

Police constable Garrard proved the case, and the magistrates imposed a fine of 10 shillings, including costs.

Francis Palmer, of Wath, was summoned by Elizabeth Watson, for having used obscene language on the 23rd ult. There was a cross summons between the parties.

Mr F.J. Marsh appeared for Watson

Palmer was fine one shilling and costs; the case against Watson was dismissed.
