Potato Stealing

Before Mr J.S. Colton Fox (in the chair), and Mr T Beeden at the Rotherham West Riding Court, on Monday, Reginald Gill (19), and Nellie Gill (13), of Wath, were bound over in the sum of 2 pounds for 12 months, for having stolen, on November 5, 4 ½ stones of potatoes, valued at 4s 6d, the property of Arthur Joseph Downing, farmer, of Spout Farm Wath.
