Flying Visit to South  Yorkshire Area 

Petulengro, King of the Gipsies, will  appear at the Empire Hall, Wath-on-Dearne, to-night, in the course of his  flying tour of the districts.

A warm welcome was given to the  famous Romany seer at Whitwell,  where he put on his varied and entertaining  show at the Miners’ Welfare  Hall.  Petulengro is accompanied by Princess  Lavanya, Princess Anyeta, and a troupe  of talented minstrels, the Romany  Players.

Free birthday readings, lucky  charms, rings and bangles will be presented  to members of the audience  carrying a current copy of The Star.”

To-morrow, Petulengro, widely read  each week in the Sunday Chronicle,”  moves on to the Victory Club, Stocksbridge.

Friday will find him at the  Drill Hall, Creswell, and he concludes  his day-to-day tour on Saturday at the  Welfare Hall, Goldthorpe.
