“All’s well. Am having a great time.” That, in essence, is the message that it coming regularly from St Able Seaman Albert Jones, of 35, York Street, West Melton.

Albert, who attended the Park Road School, has been in the Navy for 19 months, and is now in foreign waters. Before enlisting he was employed at Wath Main.

His father, Mr. Joseph H. Jones, served throughout the last wat with the York and Lancs, and Northumberland Fusiliers.
