More Points for Scarborough.

Scarborough 4 Wath 2

Scarborough were always the better side in their home match against Wath Athletic who were accompanied to the seaside town an  enthusiastic body of several hundred supporters.

The ground was very heavy. Scarborough opened the scoring within three minutes through Jukes, but Wath equalised just after with, perhaps, the best goal of the match, a perfect centre from Ball being deflected into the net by Williams with his head.

Scarborough scored again through Reg. Baines and Jukes, and led 3-1 at the interval. Scarborough were the more forceful side, and in the second half Swales scored.

Near the finish Wath got a “snap” goal.
