This photograph, taken in Germany, is of Private Alonzo Ayrton (West Riding Regiment), formerly of 2 Edna St, Gore Hill, Wath on Dearne, who has been a prisoner of war since August 26, 1914.
Before the war he was employed at the Manvers Main Colliery.
