Killed In Action

Mr. and Mrs. S. Bellamy, 4, Thornhill Road, Edgerton, formerly of Wath, have received official information that their son, Sgt. J. M. Bellamy, Duke of Wellington’s Regiment, has been killed in action.

He joined the Army in 1933, and had served in Malta and India.

He had previously been wounded in the leg in the early part of the campaign in Burma.
