Battery Quartermaster Sergt Ernest Chapman (38) son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Chapman, of “Avondale,” 3, Beech Road, Wath, has been reported missing in Malaya.

He joined the R.A. in 1926, and served in India for about seven years. He was drafted to Singapore nearly four years ago.

Ernest, who has three brothers in the Army, is married and has a son.
