Hubert Cummins only son of Mr. and Mrs. Cummins, 191 Doncaster road. Wath, has been wounded in the knee by shrapnel in the late push, and is now lying in hospital at Nottingham.

He was one of the division who were sent to help the French and are mentioned in the papers as “Yorks again.”

He is 21 and was, prior to the war, teaching, at the Victoria Schools, Wath, and has been in some of the severe fighting previous to this.
