A Wath girl serving with the A.T.S. is Gnr. Audrey Faulkner, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs J. Faulkner, 20, Oak Road, who volunteered in December, 1941.

An old pupil of Wath Victoria School and a member of Park Road Youth Centre, she was previously employed by Waterstone Glassware, Ltd. Wath.

Audrey, who enjoys Army life, is attached to a anti-aircraft battery
