Wath Sergeant Injured

Sergeant WC Fletcher, eldest son of Mr and Mrs Samuel Fletcher, of 59, Beech Road, Wath on Dearne, and a machine gunner with the Salonika forces, is at present in hospital under x-ray treatment for an injury to his hand, suffered while on active service on the Macedonian front.

In a letter to his sister, Mrs S.E.Hammond, of Marlborough, Sergeant Fletcher said he broke a finger through falling into a deep trench.

Sergeant Fletcher who received his rank since landing in Salonika, is 39 years of age.
