Lance Corporal Ernest Fox, 172 Doncaster Rd, Wath on Dearne, died of wounds in France on July 22.

He had been serving since June 1917, and went to France in November.

He was single, and was formerly employed as a shunter at Manvers Main.

He had a brother serving with the Royal Naval Division in France
