Good Service Record

Gunner Ernest Green, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Green, 122, Sandymount Road, Wath, is serving in India with a heavy anti-aircraft battery. He has seen service in the Middle East also. Gunner Green has 21 years’ service with the Territorial Army, and was called up at the outbreak of war. He is in good health and hopes to be home again soon.

Gunner Green is a regular reader of the “South Yorkshire Times,” and has a copy sent to him each week.

An old scholar of Wath Park Road School, he is married and has two children. His brother and sister are employed on munitions.
