Private F Hartley, Park Lane, Doncaster road, Wath on Dearne  was killed. in action in, France on November 4.

He enlisted on November 10, 1914, and served in Egypt, Gallipoli and France, being twice wounded.

Before enlistment he was a by-product worker at the Manvers Main colliery
