Mr. W. Lord, of Moor road, has received the intimation that his brother, Sgt. Bernard Lord (York and Lancaster) M.M. and bar, has been wounded by shrapnel in the back, and is in a dangerous condition, in a casualty clearing station in France. This is the second time he has been wounded.

He has also had one brother killed, another wounded and discharged, and has an older married brother in the R.A.M.C. They all enlisted at the outbreak of war.
