In Japanese hands.
Mr. and Mrs. G.H. Lord, 48, Oak Road, Wath, have received a postcard from the eldest son, C.S.M. Lord (27), Royal Corps of Signals, informing them that he is a prisoner of the Japanese, but is in the best of health.
The card dated June 20, 1942, is the first communication they have received from him since the fall of Singapore, when he was reported missing.
