In Japanese Hands

One of the 13,000 postcards received in the country at Christmas from men who have been prisoners in Japanese hands for nearly two years, reached Mr. and Mrs. R. Miller, 65, Sandygate, Wath.

It was the first news they had had of their son Gnr. Robert Miller (23), R.A., since he was reported missing in the Far East 22 months ago.  Gnr. Miller is a prisoner of war in Japanese hands in Thailand.

Mr. and Mrs. Miller have another son, Lieut. Scott Miller, who is serving in this country with the Duke of Wellington’s.
