Lance Corporal Moore of 8, Albert road, West Melton, was killed in action on October 9th.

He was a son of Mr and Mrs. Frank Moore, and was single, aged 21.

He enlisted in November, 1914, and had been through a great deal of heavy fighting.

Before enlistment worked at the Wath Main Colliery.
